all about me ^^ !!
Far over the misty mountains old
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away ere break the day
To seek the pale enchanted gold.

The dwarves of yore made mighty spells,
While hammers fell like ringing bells
In places deep, where dark things sleep,
In hollow halls beneath the fells.

For ancient king and elvish lord
There many a gleaming golden hoard
They shaped and wrought, and light they caught
To hide in gems on hilt of sword.

On silver necklaces they strung
The flowering stars, on crowns they hung
The dragon-fire, in twisted wire
They meshed the light of moon with sun.

Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons dep and caverns old
We must away, ere break the day,
To claim our long-forgotten gold.

Goblets they carver there for themselves
And harps of gold; where no man delves
There lay they long' and many a song
Was sung unheard by men or elves.

The spines were roaring on height,
The winds were moaning in the night.
The fire was red, it flaming spread;
The trees like torches blazed with light.

The bells were ringing in the dale
And men looked up with faces pale;
Then dragon's ire more feirce than fire
Laid low their towers and houses frail.

The mountain smoked beneath the moon;
The dwarvs, they heard the tramps of doom.
They fled their hall to dying fall
Beneath his feet, beneath the moon.

Far over misty mountains grim
To dungeans deep and caverns dim
We must away, ere break the day,
To win our harps and gold from him.

The king beneath the mountains
The king of carven stone,
The lord of silver fountains
Shall come into his own!

His crown shall be upholden,
His harp shall be restrung,
His halls shall echo golden
To songs of yore re-sung.

The woods shall wave on mountains
And grass beneath the sun;
His wealth shall flow in fountains
And the rivers golden run.

The streams shall run in gladness,
The lakes shall shine and burn;
All sorrow fail and sadness
At the Mountain-King's return!

You must understand
He does the duty of two sons now
For himself; and for the one who will not return.

Home is behind
The world ahead
And there are many paths to tread.

Through shadow,
To the edge of night
Until the stars are all alight.

Mist and shadow
Cloud and shade
All shall fade
All shall...fade.

When the cold of winter comes
Starless night will cover day
In the veiling of the sun
We will walk in bitter rain

But in dreams
I can hear your name
And in dreams
We will meet again

When the seas and mountains fall
And we come, to end of days
In the dark I hear a call
Calling me there,
I will go there
And back again
