darkness reigns
on a fainted heart
the blackness spreads
and the failing starts
first its the heart
so pure and without pause
then its the soul
ripped out by claws
the ones i knew
left me there to die
while only a small light
could even attempt to fly
in this scortched heart
only death survives
but only in death
could i ever save lives
