300
Best Movie Ever Made?
OMFG YES!!!
While it skimped on details in plot (a handful of soldiers go up against over a million, bloodbath ensues, and a sex scene for good measure) 300 has shaken the cinematic world as we know it. Though this may sound odd, a stronger plot would have ultimately weakened the epic. With the lack of extra scenes going into detail about the Grecian democracy, or the pasts and stories of certain characters, the movie lets you focus on the reason you came to see the damn movie, it epic battles leave your jaw to the floor and begging for oh so much more. With an absolutely GORGEOUS aesthetic appeal, saturating certain colors to invoke a an emotion or tone, and the beautiful scenery that accompanies it, the movie itself is like sex for your eyes (where's the p***s?). The acting was tremendous - Gerard Butler certainly managed to fit his feet in to some seriously gargantuan shoes. He plays King Leonidas of Sparta, and he has one hell of a personality. He's a powerful man, mentally and physically, and commands the adoration of one vast, and seriously badass army. Though there isn't much to give away, one scene had me jumping out of my seat (nearly) while others clapped and stared in awe. The movie does a good job of capturing you and keeping you in this beautiful, epic Greece. The battles were masterfully choreographed, and there is only more praise to had from the movie. I could easily write an essay explaining why this movie is the greatest ever made, but I really believe that you shuld just get the ******** up right now and go see the damn movie.
Au revoir!!
