Here are a few gaia online tips that might be good to know:
- Do not give away your password.
Maybe only to people who
you know in real life, like your mom, dad, bro, or best friend.
But not to people online. If some person you don't know just
asks for your password (and maybe promise you things, or
you when you come to a website that asks you to give your
Gaia username and password:
Report these things!
- Watch out for scammers.
For example: You want to buy Winged Anklets. Someone PM's
you to tell you to send the gold for that item to him/her, and
that person wil send you the Winged Anklets over from another
account. DO NOT FALL FOR THAT! This person won't send you
the item with the other account and gets away with YOUR gold!!
If it happends: Report this right away!
- Don't just give your gold to beggers.
When you get a PM that contains messages like this:
'Pleeeaase donate some gold to me pls pls pls pls!!!1'
Don't donate, it doesnt matter how poor that person is or how
rich you are: Begging is against the rules. Also, if you donate
to persons like this, you will keep getting beggers.
- Maybe a very importent one:
Do not get too obsessed over your items and gold on Gaia.
When you get hacked, banned, or lose your account some way,
you get angry, frustrated and cranky.
Don't make Gaia your REAL LIFE.
