(These are some more detailed bios of my RPCs)
Maeko:
Maeko grew up in a place called, Tau village. All the people in the village were mostly human (besides just a few travelers) except her family. Her mother (Amrita)was a full neko her father(Goraidh) was a shapeshifter. Her family lived right at the edge of the forest surrounding the village in a small house. She grew up happy except for the fact that whenever her and her mother would go into the village she and her mother would get strange looks and were treated poorly. Even as a child she had a very strong sense of justice and hated injustice and dishonesty with a passion. Her parents didn`t make her go to school with the other children but she didn`t care, her stubborn attitude encouraged her to go. She would go to school everyday and try hard to play with the other children but the eaither ignored her, picked on her, or beat her up. The first few days she came home crying or with tears in her eyes with brusies and other injuries. But after a while she stopped coming home crying and came home with a straight face but still hurt. She asked her mother why the other children wouldn`t play with her but all her parents would ever say would be, "They are just scared." She never understood what they ment. One day, the village had a meeting. They were trying to get rid of Maeko`s family. They were most afraid of her father because he was a shapeshifter.....The next day Vadim, the village leader, Broke into their home while Maeko was at school. She left school that day to see smoke coming from the far side of the village. She ran home as quickly as possible to see her home engulped in flames. She ran inside screaming for her parents. She found them lying on the floor, not moving. She draged them out one at a time. Afterward she kneeled next to them, burns all over her and tears running down her cheeks. She all of a sudden saw her father slowly breathing. "Father!" she exclaimed. "M-aeko....dear...." he said in a raspy voice. Her eyes filled with tears as her father struggled to breathe. Just before he passed away she told him that she shapeshifted today running away from some kids trying to hurt her. He smiled weakly and looked at her. "T-take this." He said handing her his katana. She took it and held it close. "Always remember....no matter what we love you.....it doesn`t matter what or who you a--" he said with his last breathe of life........Ten years later Maeko wanders the world getting stronger for the day she finally faces Vadim to avenge her parents wrong and hate fueled deaths.
Kani:
Kani grew up in Hawaii with her parents and siblings. Her mother(Doreen) was from New York and came to Hawaii to live with her parents after losing her job and everything she had. Her father(Keanu) was born and raised in Hawaii. When she was born they named her 'Kani' which means 'sound' in Hawaiian. Her 12 year old brother is named Mikala which is a form of Michael. Then she has 3 year old twin brothers named, Kai (sea) and Kalani (the heavens). She grew up very happy and was a normal teenager. She loved music and loved to sing. One night though, after staying the night at a friends house she was walking home. The night before she had gotten into an argument with her parents, she was going home to apoligize. After walking past the beach some one appeared from the shadows and grabbed her. They dragged her to the beach. She glanced at the person and reconized him instantly. He was the one who tried out for her band and was turned down. It was years ago and he held a grudge on her ever sience. She didn`t understand why he would do this though it was just a band, they wern`t even together anymore. Then she caught a scent of alchohol on his clothing, he was drunk. He screamed something then pulled out a knife. He slit Kani`s throat and threw her into the ocean. Just as he slit her throat she thought to herself, "....the last thing I said to them was.....I hate you.".......3 years later she watches over her family and friends hoping to one day redeem herself and get her voice back or yet, stop the heavy guilt on herself.
