Shadow's eyes widened. "Are they threatening to kill you? Do you no why?" She asked quickly. She still had a thousand questions her mind, but kept it simple.


Phantom shook her head. "Not me." She looked at her friend. "I've been in a secret organization that works to protect all of Gaia for some time now. I'm not supposed to tell anybody that, but I know I can trust you. It's dangerous work.

My superiors had sent me on a mission last week. There'd been some suspicians that the Sniper was on the prowl again, so they sent a few of their agents to find info. I was one of them.

I'd gone to the post office to see if I could find anything, and I found that. It is for one of our agents. A friend of mine. His name is Torayle Hiro, and he's done a lot to keep Gaia safe." She sighed and looked away. "Why the Sniper wants to kill him, I don't know, but... We have to stop it somehow..."

"Secret What?" Blue_shadow asked dragging behind the conversation. she stopped and thought about what Phantom had just said. " How are we supposed to stop it? I'm not a protecting thingamagiger?!" She yelled confused about the whole situation.


Phantom winced at her cry, but she understood her friend's feelings. "I don't know. Honestly, I've never hunted anyone down before; never resorted to violence. I hope we won't have to. You don't have to help me, Shadow, you know? And I'm sorry for dumping all of this on you. I'm just..." she stopped, choking slightly as she tried to hold back the tears. "I'm scared, Shadow. I don't have the slightest idea of what's going on; I'm terrified!"

Terrfied for her friend, Shadow placed her hand on her shoulder and comforted her. Thinking hard of what to say, but nothing came out of her mouth. She just grabed a hankercheif and handed it over to her friend.


Phantom stared at the hankercheif for a second, and then accepted it thankfully, wiping her eyes. "I'm sorry. I probably shouldn't have told you..." Out of common curtessy, she refrained from blowing her nose into the hankie and handed it back to her friend.


"No! It's a good thing you told me. There is no way one person can handle this on there own." Shadow asured her friend.

putting away the hankercheif she looked into phantoms eyes. Smiling she said "come on. we got a mystery to solve."


Phantom hugged her. "Thanks," she said, letting go. "But... where do we start?"

"hmmmm..." Shadow schratches her head. "I have no clue. Do they have some speacial tranning for this in that organization of yours?"


"Yes... But it's only for agents specified for hunting down rogue NPCs like the Sniper." Phantom thought about it. "But I do know someone who could get us in after hours..."

"Thats great! Where are we going?"


"It's a secret place, so I can't tell you the way or where it's located," Phantom explained. "We'll leave for it in the morning. Early. When it's still dark out. That way no one will know we left."


"Should I spend the night here then?" Shadow asked, "That way we know where eachother are".


Phantom thought about it. "Perhaps. As long as everything's okay at your place. I think it would be best if you stay here, but I might not have anything that you might need when we leave."


"I can easily go to my house and come back. What would I need?" Blue_shadow asked.


"Clothes, sleeping bag, the usual stuff," Phantom explained, pulling her robe tighter around her body. "Something warm to wear, too. It's getting cold out."


"yeah iit is," She agreed looking outside," lets hope it's not too cold tomarrow". "I'lll be back as soon as possible" Shadow told phantom while exiting the door way.
