When I was thinking of people earning gold and items off gaia I was thinking of how unfair and fair donation items were..
As we look at it in the view of the maplestory world where the only thing to do is quests, earn mesos, fight badguys, and level up your character..
We're viewing OUR donation items as:
'Customizing our characters'.
Which is okay to view it as.
You spend your hard earned cash on items on maplestory to dress up your character because the clothes people who don't use their money on are so linear and limited.
But I was thinking:
I could understand how Maplestory is so restricted with, '90 day keeping the clothes' or 'no trading it to others.'
Because all you do IS fight there and customization doesn't really matter does it? And they don't want you to profit off the clothes since, well, you have to earn your money yourself and it's not fair to free players.
But I find it cool also that they have pre-paid cards for those who can't order online by the way.

So where does this tie altogether by gaia you ask?
It's simple:
How most rich gaians earn their money.
Although I might seem like the gaian who is considered 'rich'..
Well, once upon a time I wasn't rich and till' this day I never did donate to gaia.
So how did I get to be this way you ask?
Well, it's simple:
I quested for the donation items that have released with my profits gambling with time that the price would inflate on the items..
But what I find not fair is..
That us, hard working, going on gaia not using our money for such items that are too young, or are very afraid of ordering on the internet, or can't afford to waste our money on pixels..
Can't get what we can because certain people are getting what they want by selling their donation items for profit and automatically get 10k.
You get 10 donation items 100k gets in the pocket..
You inflate harder items to get so it's impossible for others to get what they want.
But gaia can't resort to maplestory ways of their donation items because gaia is based off of customization.
But it's somehow.. Not fair.
