You've shattered my heart like glass that hits the floor
You've tried to take away the one thing I love most.
My shelter, my refuge, my joy.

I hate you for that, how you enjoy my pain.
You've broken my reason for living.
My freedom has been caged.

My pool of tears means nothing to you.
My attemps to reason, go right past your ear.

I've tried to make you understand what your doing to me,
But my actions, my words, mean nothing to thee.

My strength to fight is gone in a single breath.
My hope, my trust, is put to the test.

I don't understand you, though you think your actions are just.
My little drop of happiness is gone in a hush.
