I don't know about you, but I think almost all of the so-callled "best" movies really only have about 5-10 minutes of genius. This isn't really a bad thing though, not if it's done right. One of my favorite movies leaves you with a feeling that you really learned something. It's not a perfect happy ending, but it's really something spectacular. Like an unpolished gem. So far, I haven't met anyone else that's seen this movie, but it's ok. I know the movie's good. I don't need the opinion of someone else.
Isn't it funny how sometimes watching a movie with someone else can determine what you think of that movie. If it's a really serious movie, I would NOT reccomend watching it with your friends. With a group of people, everyone gets distracted when just one comment about what's happening in the film is made. This leads to about 15 minutes of other comments, jokes and then general confusion about what just happened in those 15 minutes everyone was talking. A comedy though, is priceless. Just try and make sure that everyone there is comfortable with what kind of comedy it is. A lot of the times, people won't speak up because they're afraid of what their peers might say. And, they are left feeling highly uncomfortable. Anyways, that's my thoughts for today.
Peace out. xd
