Enough to remind me of who I was.
Review: Flower of the Deep Sleep
So this was one of the $3 manga I bought. The summary led me to buy it, and I was right! I really like it. The story starts kind of abruptly, but it's really easy to understand what's going on. I did some research, and it turns out there's only two volumes. cry

Anyway, it's about a girl named Yuuki (not a typo), who has visions of the future in her sleep. As well as that, she sees a mysterious little girl. But she recieves text messages from the dream girl as well as a "lonely" kaleidoscope (sp?).

I liked it, except for the names! In my first manga series (Crescent Moon), I found the names quite confusing. Part of it was because I wasn't used to reading Japanese names, and the other part was most of their names began with the letter 'm'. The whole Mitsuru vs. Mutsura thing was too much for me to really handle. But in here we have the sisters Yuuki and Yuuka, and the brothers Ryuune and Ryuunosuke. Didn't confuse me, but I've been reading manga for a while now. So I wouldn't really recommend it as a first manga series, but I'd definitely recommend it in general.

Rating: 8.5/10

Related Series: Crescent Moon, Juvenile Orion, D.N.Angel. (I can't think of any others at this moment... sorry.)
