As morning arrived Naruto opened his eyes and absorbed everything around him. He rubbed his eyes slowly then threw his bed sheets off his legs to reveal he was wearing pitch black shorts and was bare chested. Naruto swung his legs off the bed and stretched his sun kissed arms above his head. He glanced over to the picture of his ninja cell then stood up. He grabbed a plain, old, white t-shirt and threw it on. He walked over to his toe and heel slit, blue, shoes and slipped them on. "One Sasuke free day." Naruto laughed softly. He jooged out, onto the balcony, taking in the view with his piercing blue eyes. Naruto pushed himself up onto the railing and grabbed onto a rope below. He then proceeded to slid down the rope, quickly, and jumped off before he hit the ground. The blonde haired boy walked slowly through the village, gazing up at the brilliant sun. Squinting slightly he smiled then looked ahead of himself, making sure not to trip. "What a nice day." He thought to himself happily. Naruto's eyes spotted Sasuke and that happiness seemed to slip away. A glare ran along Sasuke's black outfit. Those blue eyes sprung open like elastics and he spun quickly, walking in the opposite direction. "Just when I thought I might get a break from him." He talked under his breath. Naruto looked down at his feet and watched each step he took. Sasuke jogged over to Naruto, leisurely and tugged Naruto back by his shirt sleeve. "What's the rush?" He questioned. "There is none.." Naruto lowered his eyebrows in anger and pushed Sasuke's, pale, hand away from the material of his shirt. "You sure?" Sasuke said arrogantly and tilted his head to the side. His bangs slid along the skin on his cheek. "Yeah, I'm sure." Naruto crossed his arms loosely. "What are you up to today?" Sasuke paused briefly. "Nothing? I should've known." He then sighed. "Errr!" Naruto twitched a bit. "Well, do you want to practice? God knows you need it. Lucky you, I'm here." He nodded proudly. "Oh! I'll show you!" Naruto ran passed Sasuke towards a, heavily wooded, forest. "What a jerk." He scowled. "I'll be the one showing you!" The black haired boy yelled.
Sasuke watched Naruto pass by then he jerked his body towards the forest. He began dashing and easily passed the blue eyed boy. He jumped up onto a branch, high up, on a tree. Naruto growled and jumped up beside Sasuke. "You're so slow." Sasuke exclaimed and shook his head. He concentrated his chakra and walked to the underside of the branch, suspending himself. Naruto watched him closely and eventually concentrated enough chakra to walk and end up beside Sasuke. "Hmph." Sasuke quickly glared at Naruto. "What's wrong Sasuke?" Naruto said playfully. He lost his grip and opened his eyes widely. He began falling and thrusted his hand up. Sasuke grabbed Naruto's hand as quickly as he could and threw him up against the tree trunk. He then placed his hands onto the, wrinkled, branch and flipped up, in front of Naruto. "Idiot.." Sasuke said, in a smooth tone and pushed his lips onto Naruto's lips softly. Naruto eyes shook a little in fear then he began to relax. "Wh-what's going on?!" Naruto yelled inside his head. Sasuke slowly shut his dark eyes and leaned his head to the side. He put more pressure onto Naruto's lips, deepening the beautiful thing he had commenced. Sasuke delicately placed his porcelain like hand onto Naruto's, streaked, cheek and leaned in closer to Naruto's small body. "His lips are so moist and soft. His finger tips are so warm and tender." Naruto thought and a soft blush line ran across his face. Sasuke slid his free hand up Naruto's stomach then his now heaving chest. "This feels.. so weird. We're.. both guys." Naruto's thought became more serious. He placed his hands onto the, twisted, tree trunk slowly. His heart pounded inside his head and Sasuke pulled his lips away from Naruto's. Moving his hands back to himself Naruto tried following Sasuke's calming lips like suction then fell back onto the tree trunk. "Sa--" Naruto paused and blushed harder. Sasuke opened his eyes gradually and placed a finger on Naruto's lips. A blush line appeared across his face and he flipped backwards off the branch then dashed off.
Naruto was left by himself and his eyes filled with tears. He dropped onto his bottom on the branch. "Sa-Sasuke.." Naruto brushed his finger tips along his lips softly. "Wh-why would he.. kiss me?" Naruto breathed out quickly and, hot, tears rolled down his cheeks. He attempted to stand up on the branch, his knees trembling. Naruto jumped off the branch, almost collapsing on the ground. "Th-these feelings.. They're so odd.. " He rubbed the tears away clumsily. He gradually made his way back to the place he called home. Replaying the kiss in his head almost every two minutes. He finally arrived in his room and dropped his body onto his bed. Naruto kicked off his shoes quickly and stared at the lifeless ceiling.
The next morning seemed to arrive so quickly. Naruto had only fell asleep about an hour before he awoke. He had been tossing and turning all night trying to think of a reason for that kiss. What were these feelings welling up inside? Naruto couldn't find any answers to the questions that surrounded his every thought. He sat up in bed and sighed slowly as he glanced over at the picture of his ninja cell. "I barely got any sleep thanks to you." Naruto glared at Sasuke's face in the photo and flipped it face down on the night table. He slowly slumped out of bed and stretched to relieve the stiffness. A flash of the kiss entered his mind and tears blurred his vision. Naruto quickly shook his head. "Stupid Sasuke.. " He muttered and changed into his orange and blue outfit. As he touched his chest he felt Sasuke's touch once again. Naruto pulled up the zipper and took hold of his steel plated head band. He then pulled it across his forehead and tied a knot by the back of his head. To complete it all, he jerked on his shoes and was off running.
Just like the morning before he grabbed onto the rope below the balcony and slid down it. Swaying back and forth. Naruto lept off the rope before he reached the sandy ground. "Hopefully Kakashi sensei has something to keep my mind busy today." He said as he looked around closely. Every crevice his blue eyes could find was carefully observed for Sasuke. "Why am I even looking for him? Who cares. Maybe he was sick yesterday.. " The innocent, blonde haired, boy thought. Sakura jogged, gently, by Naruto. "H-Hey Sakura!" Naruto waved quickly and ran up beside her. "Oh.. Naruto." She said in a disappointed voice and gradually slowed down. Naruto stopped all together and smiled. A flash of the kiss entered his mind once again and he abruptly stopped smiling. "Wh-where were you going? I thought Kakashi sen--" He was interrupted by Sakura. "He got new orders. Now we've got to head over to Ichigo Fields." Sakura curled her smooth, soft, hair behind her ear. "Oh. Where's Sasuke?" She said curiously. "I.. don't know." Naruto said quietly and gazed at the ground. "I thought for sure I would've seen him." Sakura said in a some what whining voice. "He might already be there. Let's get going." Naruto jolted his head up and dashed quickly. Sakura followed closely behind him. "I'll get to the end of this.. " Naruto thought to himself, lowering his eyebrows a bit.
A good jog later Sakura and Naruto came upon Ichigo Fields. It was a quiet and beautiful place. The grass was long and soft. It brushed up on Naruto's hands as he pushed it aside. The sun was pale in the blue sky so it wasn't too hot. Strawberry bushes were scattered around the field. Little water droplets slid down the plump strawberries slowly. Sasuke leaned up against a cherry blossom tree as petals seemed to float down in slow motion. Sakura's dream was finally answered. She scurried over to Sasuke quickly and tried hugging him. "Sasuke!" She said happily. A emotionless expression still laid upon his face as he nudged her away. Naruto glared at Sasuke as he made his way over to his comrades. "If I keep this serious face then he'll know I'm mad.." He thought to himself.
Naruto approached Sasuke and continued glaring. "Hey." Sasuke rolled his neck slowly, looking at Naruto. "Hmph." Naruto quickly looked away. "Don't bother with him, Sasuke. I'm the one you should be paying attention to." Sakura smiled. In her mind there were hearts flying all around Sasuke's head. She pictured them happily married and with children, basking in the beautiful sun. "Four of them.. " She sighed happily. "Hmm?" Sasuke raised an eyebrow, watching the pink haired girl giggle. "Oh, nothing." Sakura giggled more. Naruto slowly turned his vision back to Sasuke and blushed when he noticed Sasuke was looking right back at him. "What are you looking at?" He said with a bit of attitude. "Clearly.. you were the one looking at me." Sasuke nodded. "I was not. Shut up!" Naruto growled. "I'm not going to argue with an idiot like you." The black haired boy replied. Sakura watched them go back and forth and she moved as close as she could to Sasuke. Like a parasite. "Naruto. Stop bothering Sasuke!" Naruto lowered his eyebrows and crossed his arms, tightly together. "He thinks he's so cool. But, he isn't!" Naruto thought.
