I was too excited to write this last night, so I thought I'd post it now. Last night, Stephen King released a comic called The Dark Tower; The Gunslinger Born. It's produced by Marvel, which, if you know me at all, you know I love both SK and Marvel, so I was really reallly REALLY happy it was going to happen. Well the comic book store that is like, two mins from my home had a midnight opening on the 6th/7th. When I got there, there was more people then I thought there would be. At least 35 people. Oddly enough, I was one of three females. I wandered around a bit because I got there slightly before midnight and they couldn't sell the comics until after mid night. Well at 11:58 they said they were going to pull the raffle number and if you wanted a ticket to get them now. Well I had no idea what the raffle was for and I'm a fairly shy person, so I was going to let it slid. Saddly being one of three girls there got me a lot of attention and the store owner asked me if i had one yet. I said no so he gave me one. Okay, cool. So I'm standing around with my new little ticket, and several other people got a ticket after me. So they shake the box with the stubs in it all up then call the number. Everyone groaned...except for me. Because I'm the luckiest b*****d in the world. You got it, I won. So I was like whoot, what did I win? smile Well i got handed this bagged and boarded (meaning there was a cardboard backing in the bag...) Variant Edition of the Dark Tower comic. The guy said that all the stores that opened at midnight got one to give away. One. The only store in Orlando (whoot O-town) that opened at midnight was the one I went to. Basically right now I'm the only one in Orlando with the Variant Edition unless someone bought it on eBay or from the offical site. It's not really a big deal, but I was (still am acutally) flying high and feeling fine. biggrin Be happy at my nerdness... be very happy. Cause I am. biggrin

Oh and I found out I got a 92 in my computer class. In my school thats a B but you know what? I was thrilled with it. I love A's but considering I thought I may fail that class, I'm a happy camper about that. heart
