Main Aura ability: Mostly healing - this was her first known ability. Later it was discovered that she had the ability to create things - especially natural things like flowers and grass, and to induce visions onto others. She only does this in accord with her self-assigned duty as a healer, however.
Personality: Finella is a kind and quiet young lady, but very reserved. She tends to try and take care of things by herself as much as possible. She doesn't like being patronized because of her disability, but since it almost always happens anyway she's learned to get past it. She goes through highs and lows - cheerful as can be in one moment, then depressed and isolating the next.
History: Finella was born a blind and sick little girl in Ireland, the youngest child with two older brothers. She grew up poor but happy, running around barefoot and free in the woods around her parents little house. When she was three she got lost in the woods during the twilight times - when the seperation between worlds becomes thinnest. Off in the distance she saw a shining white light - the first light she had ever seen. She followed it, feeling no fear, and the light, which was a unicorn, sensed her youthful purity and came to meet her. She reached out to touch the light and as she did so the unicorn turned into a beautiful young faery girl with a horn on her head. She kissed her on Finellas' brow and a horn grew there, silver and bright. Her clouded eyes became clear and she could see. Then the girl, in a daze of glamoury, was lead into Tir Na Nog, the Otherworld, where she stayed for three weeks. She became wild and free, tossing away clothes and wearing only the star pendant that Calliope, the unicorn girl, gave to her. She learned of the sacred spiritual ways of the Unicorn Folk and became as one of them. However, Finella began to pine for her mother and would weep and her happiness faded. So Calliope, even though she loved her, decided to bring her back to our world. She left her with the star pendant and a cloak, right where they first met, but thirty years had passed on earth. Her vision clouded again and she was blind once more. When she returned to her parents they were elderly and shocked to find their daughter looking no older than 10, a spiraling horn upon her brow, her hair white-blonde, and almost unable to speak English. A few years passed, and she lived somewhat normally, though her parents kept her from school and friends because of her appearance. A naturalist named Mr. Fujino from Japan came across the young girl when she was 17, and begged her parents that he be allowed to take her to the Psychic Academy, where she might have friends like her and live a happier, less lonely life. Her parents agreed knowing they couldn't keep her in the woods forever.
