Sorry about the delay. I've been mad cleaning because my little marine brother got back in town on Tuesday and will be home for a month and he'll be occassionally stopping by.
the android said before taking off after the kid. "Dragon's orders."
"What in the world is wrong with her?" Xangord asked.
"I'm not sure," Wynn replied. Looking at her, I narrowed my eyes the very slightest.
"Mom?" Xink asked. "Where is this place?"
As Xangord opened her mouth to speak, I suddenly surged forward and grabbed Wynn by the scruff of her neck. Slamming my fist against the side of her face to knock her out, I yelled at Nerissa, "Open the hangar door!"
"Nogard, what are you doing?" Nerissa asked without appearing either in hologram form or on a computer screen as she opened the hangar door.
Ignoring her, I chucked Wynn into space. "Close the door and activate the shields!"
A split second after that was done, there was an explosion from outside the ship. Her hologram form appearing next to me, Nerissa said, "Wynn...blew up. Nogard, what's going on?"
"Where's Dragon?" I asked. Remembering that Xangord had mentioned Xink being able to create portals, I said, "Never mind, I won't get there fast enough. Xink! Make a portal to where Dragon's at!"
As Xink began making the portal, Xangord and Nerissa both demanded, "What is going on!?!"
Ignoring both of them, I grabbed Xink and leapt through the portal. We reappeared in another hangar where Dragon was leaning over a screaming Shalimar. At the other end of the hangar were--
"Faries!" I said hungerly, taking a step towards them. Shaking my head, I muttered, "No. First thing's first. I can eat them later."
"What are YOU doing here?" Dragon demanded of me in the dragon speech.
Ignoring her as I had ignored the others, I picked Shalimar up in the same way I had Wynn and yelled to Xink, "Create a portal to--"
A portal appeared next to me. On the other side, I could see a black hole--the Alamea Void to be exact. Before anyone could react, I chucked Shalimar through. Even before I could yell at Xink to close the portal, it began to close on it's own. However, before it could fully close, Shalimar also exploded.
"SHALIMAR!" Dragon yelled, running towards the portal.
Shoving her back, I stumbled forward as something slammed into me from behind. Looking over my shoulder, I saw the portal close. Looking down at my chest, I saw a gigantic icicle protruding through. Looking at Dragon, I opened my mouth to begin to explain why I did what I did, but all that came out was, "Ow."
Blacking out, I fell to the floor.
