So I'm annoyed with my parents and myself this morning. Yesterday Dad and Mom told Shane and me that we were going to have a "family movie day" and it would be some time after lunch.
Then this lady who had called earlier that day to ask me if I could baby sit that night (that night as in yesterday night) wanted to know if I could baby sit the next day.
Cuz I told the woman no the first time more in principle. I had been expecting to read a required book for my English class all day, and then at some point talk to David for an hour or so to bring me back into the real world. I hate it when people call me the day they want me to baby sit and ruin my plans. It's not nice. Call in advance.
Well anyway, she called again and asked if I could babysit the next day (today) and I thought to myself, "The woman really needs a night off or something," and so I said ok. She wanted me at 5:15. Not 5 or 5:30, but 5:15.
(Oh, and she has four kids. Two of them are under three. XP)
But I told her I had movie plans, and wasn't sure if I could make it by 5:15. 6 would be a better time. So she makes this long, pondering noise, and she says, "Well 5:15 would be best, but I could do 5:30....... maaaybe 6...."
And I'm kinda like doing the eye twitching thing.
"How about I get back to you about the time in the morning?"
"Okay," she said, "Morning will be fine."
So I woke up early to call her, like nine o'clock, and my parents aren't home, and they're not answering their cells. stressed
They just now got home and its eleven.
