I sat quietly at my office, drinking tea served to me by my butler, Cromwell. I just started to be a detective so my reputation wasn't very good, but I had my friends.
Penelope was always day dreaming, and Chole was very rough, but a good friend.
I sat drinking my tea waiting for a client, like every other day, but maybe today would be different! Maybe the phone would ring, or someone would knock at my door!
*knock knock*
I, Mizuki sighed "Ah. Music to my ears."
Cromwell opened the door and in walked Penelope.
"Miss Mizuki is working now Penelope, she can play later." Cromwell said.
But Penelope shook her head "Oh no! I'm not here to play! I'm here to tell her of a case!"
Instantly my attention was caught "Come in! Have a seat! Cromwell, give her a cup of tea!"
We sat drinking our tea for quite a while until Penelope spoke "I have a problem."
I asked her what it was. She answered "Someone is stealing my dreams!"
I looked astonished and repeated "Someone is stealing your dreams."
"Yes! I will be in a perfectly happy dream, with me playing with ducks in the park, then someone wearing a paper bag would come, then my dream would be gone!"
Wait! I'm sure you're all thinking "Your dream can't be stolen! It's just a nightmare! Well, tune in next time for the other part!
