Went in to see my ortho again... just like every month...
Except this time there was a nasty twist...
There are these things that go with braces that Orthos use to straighten your jaw... theyre tiny rubber bands and you have to stretch them 20x their size by hooking onto your upper and lower jaw... They hurt like heck and theyre the biggest pain to have to take off and put on and get more and change all the time...
Well... where the problem comes in is the part where I was told I would get off my braces and get my retainer THIS SUMMER... but with the rubber bands that I'll be getting... its a couple months wait to get them, then I wear them, then after I get them off, they have to do NOTHING FOR 3 MONTHS to see if Im gonna need them AGAIN stressed stressed and if i do, then its another 6 months, and if not (hopefully) then Ill get them off (if Im lucky) by Spring 2008 stressed scream gonk stressed scream gonk
What makes it worse is that Ive already had them for 2 and a half years... then worse than that my older brother ONLY HAD THEM FOR 2 scream stressed ...
And if you feel like saying that you or some1 you know had them longer than that, I dont want to hear it... it doesnt make me feel better to know that other peoples mouth situations suck too... you can believe when i say I already know
