There was a blackout yesterday and today I got my silver medal.
The blackout happened when my mom came home. I was lucky she bought dinner for me or else i would be starving. She was going to cook noodles for herself but had to go out to eat because of the blackout. The blackout only effected my building and my friend's house a couple blocks away. It was weird how only some houses were effected. It lasted 1 and a half hours. Luckliy the electricity came back before my tv show started.

The silver medal is something I got for grade 6 piano exam. There were about 100 people from Ontairio and Quebec recieving the medal for music and speech arts. I got it from the RCM and there was a performance by some of the medalists. I saw my classmate and her brother there. Her brother used to go to my school and he got the medal for trombone. His teacher is a teacher at my school. The lady called people one by one up the stage. We were given a medal and got to shake hands with two people. After the ceremony, there was some food and drinks to eat. I went to Red Lobster for dinner.
I really enjoyed this day.
