I sit silently in this dark room
why?
I'm waiting for the day you return
your words,
"I promise I'll come back with you,"
hopeless I sit alone
Lifeless I stare into nothing
Were your words even worth believing
My heartbeat slows within every moment
my breathing goes short, as though it'll stop,
my movement is weak
It's as tho you left and took my soul with you.
I can't even think what I wish
I'm turned off, like a machine
Return to me and revive me.
I need your love to hold me up
to keep me strong
to bring me to life
without you I'm noting but a
lifeless doll.........
