writing and its complications.
as a hobby I'm writing a novel. The sad part is it's that it is nearly impossible to come up with something interesting or unique these days. You can write about things but someone will probably say they've already heard of it. To come up with something pure and meaningful is even harder now than it was ten years ago. Not even ten, try fifty years ago. With so many new books out there that people haven't read it is impossible to know if you are doing something that hasn't been done yet. To think that writers these days have to lock themselves up and sit in a chair looking at a piece of paper on a desk for a few hours just to make something that hasn't been done these days is what is taking away many people from writing. Than again it truly wouldn't be writing if some of us didn't have to do that. Even though the mind has no limits it is extremely hard to know what is new and what is wanted in the world without spending every day of our lives looking through magazines and watching talk shows is unbelievable. So the true question is, what don't people want. If you can figure that part out then you just have to figure out what people want from that and what you can do out of those things. then again that is still a lot of things. So what do you do when it comes to that. What i have done is try and find something that has been completely destroyed by people that believed they did something great but truly made a terrible thing and start a new idea about that topic and turn it into something that is good. By doing that people can say they've heard of it but they'll also have to say it is at least better than what they heard before it. And that is truly some of the complications of writing.
