21-22.
s**t.
Yeah, we lost. But, that the best game I had ever watched. I was on my feet the whole time, screaming like crazy.
And you know what? There were many unjustified calls on us, including the negation of a field goal. I may sound like a sore loser, but we should have won.
Not only are our players amazing, but everyone who was on Carrol's football team looked exactly alike. When everyone took off their helmets, they were all blond.
Also, since Southlake's so rich, people there had been saying that there was no way a bunch of "broke punks" could beat them. And on the busride home, some people in a car with Carrol flags gave us the finger.
Anyone who acts like that hardly deserves that win.
So maybe we didn't win, according to the scoreboard. But I would hardly consider winning by one point anything to brag about. It seems more like they got lucky.
See you next year, Southlake.
PS: I'd like to mention that even though Texas Stadium is about 15 miles away, it took us two hours to get there because of traffic. We left school at 11:30 and missed most of the first quarter. (Kickoff was at 1.)
(Also, as this was a playoff game, it was our last until next year. Most likely meaning I won't be using my journal until then. XD)
