Sitting up, I removed my hat and rubbed the back of my head. I had hit it on a rock when the white dragon's power was released. Suddenly remembering WHY I had to use a white dragon's power, my eyes darted around until I saw Wynn and the others. Putting my hat back on, I crawled over on all fours and rolled Wynn over.

"Wynn?" I asked, shaking her. "Wynn, are you okay? Wynn, don't be dead! Unka Chazu'd kill me!"

A loud snore escaped from Wynn as she rolled onto her side. Staring at Wynn for a moment, I took my hat off and slapped Wynn once with it. Putting my hat back on, I checked on the others. UNLIKE Wynn, they were all beginning to wake up.

As I turned my attention to the monkey, it asked, "Uwa dio ipud, diotl Jwupdw?"

I was not that surprised that it could speak, but what had me surprised was that it knew the Dragon tounge and the name in which it addressed me. "Let us use common speech. There may be slayers about in this area."

Nodding, the monkey said, "Very well. But are you okay, Drakyr?"

"I am fine," I replied. "Why do you call me that?"

"Are you not a Drakyr?"

"I am [+1] and so is my friend back there," I replied, motioning for the ABC to stay back. "But there are few now who know that title and yet live. Especially those who come across me or my friend."

Raising his hands, the monkey said, "I meant no offense!!! I had heard the term from someone I thought to be respectible!"

"Only slayers and hunters use that filthy term," I replied. "Those with a strong desire to live do not use that term because half dragons can be as powerful as a full blooded dragon."

"Forgive me," the monkey said, standing and bowing deeply. "After your display that chased the shadow--"

"The shadow demon!" I exclaimed, looking around. "Where is it?!"

"It was chased away by your display of power," the monkey said. "Forgive me, but you do not appear to be a white dragon."

"Thaaaats a long story," I replied, picking Wynn up and settling her on my back. "And not one I care to go into here. I need to get Wynn back to mom's house. You can come with us. I want to know how you, a monkey, can speak perfect dragon speech--those who learn it do not hit the accents correctly."
