I gave platelets today. It feels good to me to be able to give back some life to our servicepeople coming back from the sandbox torn and trampled. When I get to thinking that the world owes me something, that everything is so unfair, I think about these young men and women who have made a commitment to our country. Thye may disagree with whats going on but they gave their word and they're following thru. How can I feel so bad about my situation after seeing these young people fighting through their injuries. They still have great potential but now they must face greater odds in reaching that potential. An hour's discomfort to give them a better chance at having a normal life is the least I can do.
