This is a really old somewhat poem I wrote back in middle school. It has no title or real meaning behind it, but it somehow makes me feel sad.... Anyways, please enjoy it. -^.^-


Somewhere in this hated land lies my beloved’s wandering soul. His broken pride leading him blindly towards his demise and leaving me helplessly lost. I chase and chase, but I can’t catch his restless spirit. He’s getting farther, what should I do? I’m so confused; why does this have to happen? Why did he leave me to face this world alone? He promised me we’d be together, hand in hand, heart to heart. Our voices merging into one as we chanted our secrets under the shade of the weeping willow. I prayed for your safe return, but my prayers went unanswered. You left this life for another: beyond the dark, beyond the light, beyond my reach, and beyond my love… Can’t you feel this searing pain burning within? Can’t you see my crystal tears falling? Don’t leave me alone to cry in the shadows of our memories. My partner-in-crime, my lovely thief, come back and steal my heart again. Tell me stories as you used to. Stories of you, stories of me, stories of us, stories of happily ever after. No longer can I bear this loneliness, so I shall come to you. Wait for me as I would for you; with my arms open and a smile on my face…
