It all started when before Jaide was born.
To start this story off right I must first explain what event that have transpired to lead us to this point. About 500 to 600 years in the past a small civilizaition was just starting to flourish. It continued to grow in size and power equaly until about 300 years ago. Thats when the then monarchy decided to turn over power to the people yet they didn't turn over complete power. They need to keep an eye on what was going on with the government. So they setup a Commonwealth of divisions to better control the actions of the government. Eventually they began to expand their ideals to other lands, thus forming the Terrian Commonwealth of Nations. Yet not every thing was as happy and peacefull as it would seem. One among the nobles had a wicked desire to rule all of the Commonwealths lands. For the only thing he understood was power and how to instill fear over people so as to obtain that power. The common wealth became an Empire and as they say the rest is history.
Now we move forward a bit to about 20 years ago. The Palace of the Emperor is filled with the noise of a childs crys of hunger and yurning for his mother. The latest Emperor has only been in power for about 10 years. He is a good and kind ruler but the people have grown tired of the old ways and wish to have more freedom over their land, yet none of them wish to address this to the Emperor. The chief advisor however sees this resentment growing and starts to make plans against his friend and Emperor. In less than 3 months after making his plans the raid begins. Most of the people involved are those from outside the empire. In an attempt to save the infant prince a maid takes him and out of the palce claiming the he is her child and that she wishs not to be harmed. However, she is killed and the child left to die in the courtyard of the palace. Yet not every thing goes unseen . the child was picked up and taken to the local orphanage and left ther with a note to take care of him and to instruct those who find him to take care of him and not to let him be adopted. His name even then remained a mystery.
Following the aftermath of the raid the chief advisor became the supreme Chanceller. He ruled the second age of fear. For twenty years his rule was unquestioned and undeniable.
Now most of you are wondering what happened to the child prince. Here is your anwser. In the government of the old commonwealth all orphans at age five are to be placed in to the care of the Terrian Marine Corps and they are then trained to be the most deadly of the armed forces, the Recon. With no family but those they lived with no one would miss them should they die in combat, of which didn't happen to offen. One soldier rose above all other however, his leadership was very well organized and his fighting methods unorthadox, he was a supreme fighter. Around the time of his 20th birthday a man came to the soldier and told him every thing that had transpied in the past 20 years. The soldier remained silent about this news and contiued his duties.
Then the great war started factions from the other portions of the old commonwealth united and marched against the Chanceller. The young soldier united his men and the rest of the armed forces together and told them all the truth of the Chancellers plots. Victory was quickly theirs and the Chanceller came face to face with the son of the man he killed. The Soldier being a man of second chances told the Chanceller to run as far and as fast as he could or he would be turned lose to the people of the Empire. Once in power the soldier reinstated the old system of the commonwealth. The head position was given to him yet he refused to take it, and instead left the land of his father to explore the world in hopes of one day returning. To share all that he had discovered.
And this is where we are now Jaide the son of an Emperor, explores thes realms in search for knowledge and truth.
