i only joked when i said no

i sit alone and cry
my heart was broken once again

how foolish of a person i was
i hoped that this love was true at last

how wrong i was again
now anguish takes over me
i cut myself again

my hand is bruised

i joked with love
and i got burned

then death took over me...
