You Got: Flame Slasher
"I have now gained a new Flame modification, thanks to the wonders of the Christmas season. This new ability works much like my Ice ability, save the fact that it is fire instead of ice. On a side note I had misplaced my Journal for a short time, delaying this entry. No damage done, however. I eagerly await to see what lies inside of these two letters I recieved from a barter. The merchant promised something interesting, so I can only hope. Well, I suppose it is time to retire for the evening. I will have to begin training regularly soon. Being bedridden for that long has caused me to be a bit slothly. Well, I bid you good night. I shall write again soon."
