Within the night I carry my staff
Within this plight I make the robes fast
To the woods it calls me
The raven not far behind
And the owl as my night guide
I set aside these human ways to commit an act
The act of magic phase
I go to the wild building a fire
Taking wood from fallen trees and stumps
Finally at last it is done
So now I light the flame with embrace
For the smoke coming upon my face
I take my staff and circle round
To create a scared space upon these grounds
Within the night I call
Within the night I share
Even so the darker forces now stare
They look upon me with the evil face
Their skin all grey
I banish them from wince they came
I the wizard sought with all my might
I cast my magic upon this sacred rite
Within this time and within this land
Let all magic be one with my guiding hand
As I stroke the smoke to create a path
Then suddenly the trees tremble
The ground shakes
And in between two oaks now embrace
The path of destiny upon my face
Now within my eyes I see my path
Upon this night and upon the land
I walk through the portal yet again
But this time to never return to the world I seen
Within this new world I have changed
Within this world I rein
I ruler of my soul
Keeper of secrets
And the natures of old
Wizard that I become from a witch yet so young
To embrace ones true heart
To grant the wish of magic’s new start
To this end
I am wizard
And not witch ever again!
