Lullaby of Death

As the midnight hour crept by, the bells of the clock tower booming, a silent figure stalked the forgotten graveyard. Calmly moving from tombstone to tombstone, it slunk its way to town. As the town slept tucked safely in their beds, the dreary spirit roamed the streets. It raised its head up towards the sky, crying a horrendous song. The souls of those so dearly departed rose to meet the call. No longer will they be forgotten, no longer will they lie dormant. The glow of anger, hatred, and spite, glittered faintly off of steel. Mighty winds arose as the figure raised it high, ready to lead the souls to vengeance, for the deaths they died in vain. Forever more will the ghastly sights remain... in a child's nighttime dreams on All Hallows Eve.
