dare: describe your charactors first day at school

She looked around in awe at the other fair haired children, she felt like some sort of an outcast, her naturaly black hair and dark eyes were odd compared to the other elementals. They grinned at her as she passed them by, they stared at her and poked their fingers at her direction. She was a strange elemental, people had said she wasn't even full elemental, that her mother had been elemental but that her father was a mere mortal.
She bumped into someone, looked up she saw it was one of the older children in the school, she moved aside and watched in curiousity as they walked off with what seemed like a heavy head. She wanted her elemental powers to spark at the fingertips as they did with the others, she watched secretly at the group of girls as they practiced their earthy elemental power, flowers grew from their fingertips. Then there was the bell. Her head turned in alarm as usual only to see the children hang their heads and stalk off to their classrooms. The first day of school had officially began!
