Worst day ever.
Hell yeah, this would be considered one of the worst days ever.
Wednesday, January 19, 2005:
Axl almost had to stay at school for an entire day. I was stuck there from 7AM to 10PM. It'd started snowing around 12:25PM, and they told us that school would be out early around 1:25. When we were released to the bus lot, my bus wasn't there. I called my dad when the bus didn't come, and he said he was too busy. After that call, I couldn't call anymore. Nobody left had cellphones, and the lines at school were so busy, so we couldn't call anybody. My bus still didn't come after. A lot of them weren't there actually. And they stopped coming around 4:00PM. There were still 3 out there that needed to pick up students. Unfortunately, bus 411 (my bus) decided that he would not pick us up since it took him 3 hours to get through one elementary school route. We would have to sleep at the school. Some people had already given up hope on the bus, and started walking home, which would've taken them approximately 3 hours or more, depending on how crazy traffic would be moving along, since they did have to cross the street.
The remaining students grew hungry and bored (and were already annoyed). The school decided -not- to supply us with cafeteria food. Why, I do not know. The hallway was too cold to stay in, so they finally let us in the media center. Sure it was warm, but we were still bored. So they let us on the computers. Unfortunately, they blocked many interesting sites. Although I wonder why they didn't block some of the yaoi webcomics I read. ::shrug:: Ah well. I got some reading done.
Around 9:00PM, our principal said that there might be a bus coming for us, but we shouldn't get our hopes up. We would have to sleep in the media center if they didn't have a bus come that night. And they said they would have a bus pick them up at 8:30 in the morning. I was so glad when a friend of mine came by. It seems my dad called her house and asked about me. Her dad picked me up from school around 10PM. I was so glad I didn't have to be stuck in school any longer. I never want that to happen ever again.
