Lord Kyle and Lady Kat are brother and sister. Kat has run Desmond Hall alone since she turned 18, while her nanny helped her since she was 10. When she was 9 her parents were brutally murdered and at age 10 Kyle (who was 13 at the time) left Desmond Hall for adventure and freedom. From 10 to 18 Kat ran the city with the help of her loyal nanny. Finally, several years later, Kyle returned to Desmond Hall. Not to claim his rightful position as King, but to reconnect with the people he left behind...only to find that no one was left.
Grandma Yama
Grandma Yama was a timespring elf in hiding for her entire life. Her son left the kingdom of Osaka at a young age for his lifespan, but he had the maturity of a full grown adult. He spent years in hiding until he was forced to take refuge in a cave, where an evil dictator (Vlad's father) Captured him and forced him to mate with Kellet where she had two beautiful children, Puck and Rin.
Grandma Yama, after many years moved to Desmond Hall where she found her grandchildren.
