My interpretation of part of a poem called "Thanatopis" by William Cullen Bryant:
Human life is short, but death is not to be feared. It connects us all with each other and nature. In essence, we are nature. When we die, we become the soil, and the soil provides nautre with nutrients. Earth may be man's tomb, but it is decorated by man.
