I've been quite sick these past few days. I seem to be doing a little better though, despite the fact that I have to blow my nose several times a day in order to breath through my nose at all.

And my husband took our cat, Ella, to the vet today. She hasn't been doing very good at all. She's weak, she's losing weight and her heart beats really fast...

Brus tells me that the vet believes that she may have some sort of Cancer and that it would be terminal. Ella is at least 10 years old and all but I was not prepared for this. She is one of our most special cats... She loves to cuddle and to be held and...

She's our Ella Boo! I'm so sad now... I don't want her to go. Brus believes that the vet may be wrong, but I am not so sure.

Brus will be taking Ella back to the vet tomorrow to have her get a biopsy (is that how you spell it?). Maybe then we'll find out what is actually wrong with her and if she is dying, how much time she may have left or what we may have to do from that point on...

But, I am also a little scared. The last cat that died in our family had passed away while he was asleep during an operation to examine him. It turned out that he had Cancer as well and that one of his kidneys (I think) had become enlarged and when the vet took it out to examine it more, it literally fell apart in his hands...

I'm afraid that I may never see her alive again after tonight. I need to prepare myself for the worst possible thing that could happen.
