We've always had a lot of squirrels, something that comes with having a lot of tree. But I never realize until now (well, yesterday actually.) what a problem the squirrels actually have.
I mean, it's not like they are rabid or something. They don't go chasing the mailman or innocent children down the street, they do still corn... but that's beside the point confused . What made me realize that the squirrels in my backyard are freaks is.... I steped into the backyard.
I was bored!
And I wanted to see if I could ride my bike or something. Anyway, every once in a while, especially in autumn, a nut will fall from the trees and land in the grass. It makes a sound like footsteps, as if someone is creeping up behind you. Kinda scarey really pirate .
Moving on.
After hearing a nut fall for the fifth time, I looked at the ground to see...
That it was covered in nuts!
Like the squirrels had a midnight party in the trees and ate the whole supply of nuts and sent them down to the ground. EVERY SINGLE INCH OF MY BACKYARD IS COVERED WITH EMPTY NUTSHELLS. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE SQUIRRELS???
So, you're probably thinking; so what, the squirrels went a little crazy with their nuts 4laugh , big deal.
Yes, but there are other incidents that add up. Like;
1. The time a squirrel hide under the wheel of our van and the popped out scaring the sh--.... scaring me real bad.
2. Or the time these squirrels just kept flipping over onto their backs. Over and over and over and over again. For no obvious reason.
3. And they are suicidal! They'll run into the streets and just stay there, as if they're waiting for a car to run them over.
