Who am I?
Who am I?
I'm not a doll to be tossed around
Nor am I a toy to be played with
I'm not a soldier, a pawn of war
But I'm not a coward either
I'm not a ruler, Queen or King,
I'm not a child running home
I'm not a warrior, standing up for others
I'm not a hero, saving them from nightmares
I am not a servant of the darkness
Nor am I holy, I'm not god
I'm not a piece of glass, so fragile it shatters
I am not a mountain, so stable and untouchable
I am not perfect, and neither are you
But anyone can be redeemed...
If I am none of these, then who am I?
I am a rock, there's a gem inside
Shape me, and help me to glow
I am a listener, I understand
Tell me, and help me to know
I am an artist, I express my feelings
Know that you can do it too
All life is precious and should be treasured
Help me show the world it's value
I am a student, I need to learn
I am a teacher, pass on my knowledge
I am a human, I live to love
I live to love
I love...
I am me.
