Darkness
Darkness consumes me as I lay down,
Appearing without a sound.
As soon as I start to sleep,
It takes my soul to keep.
It takes my soul and fly away,
To only come back another day.
It holds the key to my heart,
Wanting me to restart.
Holding back I try to fight,
As it lifts me into the night.
The darkness lifts me so high onto the sky,
This is where I say goodbye
