I was in class earlier and this girl that couldn't have been more than, at most, 2 years older than me was talking about how her son plays football. So, just to be nice I asked her how old he was. Then, after that she talked about how she manages having 2 kids, is working, and goes to college. And I commented something along the lines of "Yeah, there's a common misconception that at such a young age kids'll ruin your life, but I don't believe that. If you want it bad enough you can pull through." And she agreed. One of my relitives, who's a few years younger than I am, was pregnant at one point, and most of my family members were talking behind her back about how she'd ruined her life. That pissed me the ******** off! Unfortunately, I didn't say anything to defend her, because I didn't feel like arguing. I just kept my mouth shut. She ended up loosing it, and now, based on the conversation I had today, I wish I had said something. Next time I see her, I'll let her know that I believed that she could have pulled through.
On a funnier note, I was in the bathroom here, and this girl walks in, spots me, and is suddenly all like, "HEY!!! I didn't know you were going here. How are you?" And I'm all miffed, but I just went ahead and said, "I'm doing ok. How are are you?" And she's talking and I'm nodding and agreeing while my mind is trying to remember where the hell I know her from. Then she mentions my X-Boyfriend's current college experiances and it finally hits me that it's his sister. xd (Funny, cuz I was wondering about what he was up to this morning. NO, NOT LIKE THAT! ) What's even funnier is that every time I've met his sister in a public place I've had that same reaction. sweatdrop She changes her hair color alot and has one of those pretty, but every-other-girl-next-door faces. She also use to wear glasses. I hope she didn't notice that I had no idea who she was for the first half of our conversation. talk2hand whee
