Bite me >.<
Pigeon≠Cat Food
My parent's friends had to move away, and their daughter gave me her pigeon, because she couldn't take it with her, and she doesn't want to let it go free.

Anyways, I happily took it home, and settled it in a box. (Good thing I put it down in time, because as soon as I let go of my hands, there was a pile of poop on the layer of newspapers I placed in the box.) xDD

So, pigeon's new life of living in a box has began! (Or until I get a cage...)

This morning, I thought the air might be fresher outside, so I took the box outside. To prevent it from running off, I covered the opening. Leaving for the whole morning, I came back at around 2 or 3, and I went straight to the deck to check on the pigeon. It was doing good and all, but I thought it might be a bit hot for it to stay in the box, so I took it out. After feeding it, I moved the box onto the grass, under a tree to let it cool off, and I went back into the house.

(Now, just to clear some confusions, the pigeon's feathers were clipped, so it can't fly.)

I was getting myself a cup of juice, when my dad told me, "Hey look, there's a cat on the deck, and your pigeon!" I froze for a second, and out of curiosity, I looked out the screen door. I found my pigeon alright, but it wasn't exactly the scene I wanted to see. There it was, the cat, biting into the pigeon's wing, and was making a run for it. By the time I thrashed out of the door, the cat had already hopped over the fence. I chansed it out into the back alley, but lost sight of the cat near the base of a fence. I looked around some, but couldn't find them anywhere. There was an old man about 50 meters ahead, so I ran to him and asked ifhe had seen anything, but he havn't.

For a second there, I thought the cat has had my pigeon for supper. Some owner I turned out to be, only the first day and the pigeon's already gone. But while I was heading back to my house, I saw something move in the grass, and it looked about the same color as my pigeon! Running to it, I found the cat who had kidnapped my pigeon crouched in the grass. Chasing it away, and looked for my pigeon. My eyes weren't as sharp as my dad's, and I saw him bending and picked something up. Thank goodness, it was that poor bird alright. It's left wing was bitten by the bird, a bit of skin was ripped open.

Thank goodness, the bird was not eaten, or I would've cried my heart out xDD
