Been a while since I've written anything. Summer continues to swelter on here. The temps have been in the upper 80s to low 90s. But here in the South, it ain't the heat, it's the humidity. It's been anywhere from 40% to 80%, depending on the wandering 15 minute thunderstorm. So, we've had sauna-like days most of the summer. BLAH! sweatdrop
Both sons are back at college. My mom, who has been living with us the earlier part of the summer, is back in Mexico (her home for about 3/4 of the year). The remodel on the utility building/studio has come to a stand-still because of the weather... too darned hot in that metal, no air conditioner, building. We're currently cleaning out the basement (aka collective junk room). We want to create a spare bedroom/office area and common room. With my mom periodically living with us and two sons coming home for holidays, etc, we need the extra space.
And sales continue to pick up for the pottery. Sold another piece last week. biggrin So, it's back to the wheel to thrown some more bowls and to get pieces ready for upcoming Christmas shopping. In the meantime, here are some more pottery pictures. Enjoy!
