Somewhere on the edge of Paradise, I stand. Looking in longingly. I see you and reach. Calling out to you. But it won't let me in, and my voice fails me. You go about what you were doing. You didn't even notice me there. I fall to my knees. Pounding on the invisable wall that won't let me through. Silent cries on my lips. As I begin to weep. You look so happy, and I want more than anything to be part of your life. Inside. But I do not belong there. There is no room for someone like me. So I sit against the edge of Paradise, my knees folded up to my chin. Rocking back and forth on the cold stone. For everything I can never have.
