I had a crush just a very small one,
In a couple days I thought it was done.
My love for him grew and grew,
I wanted him to love me to.
Everyday I thought about him,
Until finally the sun became dim.
When I slept I would dream,
He was sending love through a beam.
Before it got to me I awoke,
And my dream never ended it was broke.
Each night it would happen,
I wrote my thoughts down with a pen.
So I could remember what went on,
I would read it until dawn.
My love for him was something strong,
I wanted it to be sweet and long.
But that would not be happening,
And that gave my heart a sting.
And then it came to the end,
He just treated me like another friend.
