I hate when a friend is down and I cannot raise their spirits. I have a friend really down in the dumps, he feels like no one is on his side and that he just wants to be alone forever. I want to help him, but he's in PA and I'm here in MO and so I can't really do anything but to try to cheer him up... I'm going to send him a letter tomorrow... I hope he goes through this phase... He gets them now and then... I just hate feeling useless and not being able to do anything...
