Well as some of you might know, I have been looking forward to an Anime convention at SFU for about a year... I had plans being finailized and everything... untill...
I come home from work, check out the library for books that sort of thing, come back home surf the net a bit... and on the buyandsell online there is a car... the ad peaks my interest...
a 94 VW Jetta Turbo Diesel, in provence (but still aways away as I am currently about rock trowing distance from the town square of nowhere.)
and so a few hours later I am reserving ferry rides and what not to go get this car. Needless to say this drains the MAD money coffers so I cannot afford to fly to the lower mainland to go to con...
on one hand I have been looking forward to the con... on the other the flights and all was going to make it expensive...
on the gripping hand... "Dude, I'm getting a CAR..."
