Maya, a beautiful an lovely lady who is in her late 20's who was oddly enough also the most recent addition to our survivors.
She has told us she was from down south where the everglades are, so around the lower coastline of the US if my geography is right, she had managed with her own small group of survivors to go deep into the swampy areas an evade the machines with her family as a young kid along with a few other families who made a hidden encampment under the dense trees an mossy places.
They had a couple of boats they pontoon'd together as a sort of makeshift base of operations an dry place to keep all thier belongings in.
Sadly though she said they had all became so disillusioned with the little they had and as well sickness in an amoung thier group that in the end they disbanded an went their separate ways.
Maya had grew up and had watch s her parents had fallen ill an passed away from sickness brought on from the swamp's environment. She had struck out on her own with a rebuild an pieced together motor-ski ( parts from a motorboat an jet-ski she scavenged an got working well enough. ) an went as far away from the swamp as she could get so she could leave those memories behind....
That being said Maya is a great scavenger an fix-it person as she is able to jerry-rig most things she finds into a useful tool or helpful item. She has been awesome in helping build an keep things going along with the others help an parts scavenged from the rubble out here.
