Mmkay, I'm back from my trip to Utah. It was pretty fun. I want to go back. No seriously. If I go back to Utah, I won't feel so bad without my computer. cry My computer is STILL crappy. I cleaned it and it still shuts down. Dad needs to take it to someone who knows computers.
Uh, anyways, about the trip.
Day 1:
My first plane ride in a very long time. I was scared when we first took off, but then everything looked all pretty. I ended up not really playing FFIV much because I was looking out the window a lot.
When we got to Utah, we met my Uncle Tony, and three of my cousins, Mykel (11), Tori (9??) and Justina (6). [All of my cousins are kinda cute, but can be total brats.] Anyways, they took us to my grandma's house, 'cause that's where we were staying. First we talked with grandma (though I didn't understand her much 'cause she has a very heavy accent), and later other people arrived -- Jessica, my aunt, Jordan(?) and Shelby(?), two other cousins.
We all went to GC. And Uncle Tony raced us there. He kept falling behind. But he still got to GC before us. Grandma likes to drive slow. 3nodding And they made the people at GC sing happy birthday to me. . . x_x; And then the rest of the day we played video games.
Day 2: Skating. We went skating the next day. It was me, my bro, Tori, Justina, Mykel, and Shelby. Justina and I were the only ones without roller blades. It took me a while to actually start skating. We, my brother, Mykel and I, started playing laser tag first. I kicked butt with my invincible vest. cool Then we went to arcade games. That was okay, but all I really played was that racing game. sweatdrop
Anyways, after arcade games, we skated some. And. . . I didn't do so well. I fell on my butt once, and that hurt. I fell on my knees once, and that hurt even more. I wish I was shorter so I'd be closer to the ground. mad
After the skating, we got on the inflated stuff. Like, the mushroom, that was sorta fun, but I didn't get on top of the mushroom. I almost fell under it though. And then there was this thing that we strapped around us, ran as far as we could, and the cord would pull us back. It was fun, but it hurt. And then there was the slide. Tori told us to jump down it, and we did. I was bouncing. A lot. xD; It was funny. We tried to run up it too, and my brother and I both slipped.
After that, we played another laser tag game, with all the kids 'cept Shelby. I forgot who won that one, but it was probably me again. lol Then we went skating again, and did some of the weird little games they did. And then we played another game of laser tag and I didn't win that time. 'cause I had a defective vest. And Shelby cheated by grabbing me. And Mykel cheated by attacking people with deffective vests. Luckily, my mom gave me her vest. It wasn't very fun that time though. Shelby really annoyed me.
After the skating, we went home and had some fun again. We got on the trampoline(sp? xD; I'm horrible~). But we didn't just jump. We got out the hose and made the trampoline all wet. And everyone on it. Marc fell off once. It was pretty funny. I also got off the trampoline and fell. That's probably where my bruise came from. But I didn't notice it until the fourth day. rofl
But after our fun, things went crazy. There was fighting. There was an angry mom. There was a crazy grandma. There were confused kids who didn't know whose side to take. And that's when Mom decided she could take the Xbox and PS2 away to wherever she went. And she didn't return it until later the next day.
Day 3: Swimming. We were bored that morning. Very bored. Mom took the games. We had nothing to watch. We just sat and talked until breakfast. After breakfast, we went out to Walmart for some shopping. My grandma did somethin' funny then, but I'm too lazy to word it out right now.
Anyways, at the pool, I just sort of floated there. Didn't feel like swimming for real. 'cause I can't swim. xD; My uncle dunked me once. I got splashed by a bunch of people. And my uncle also told me to get on the fast slide. And I did. I didn't like it. D:
I guess that was all that we did that was interesting. ^-^;
Day 4: Birthday + drive-in movie. We played games before we actually started my little birthday celebration. We didn't really do much. The kids were there. My uncle and aunt were there. My mom and grandma were there. I got a really pretty necklace for my birthday from my uncle and his family. Not sure about what my mom got me. Grandma gave me a check for $1000.
After the eating, we went to a drive-in movie. Before we actually watched the movie though, some of us sat down watching the others dancing to some music. It was funny when my bro tried to do a split. xP If my mom figures out how to send the videos to me, I can post 'em up sometime.
Day 5: Swimming at Pineview.
This was our last fun day. Originally, we were supposed to go to Lagoon, but Grandma wouldn't pay for it, so we went to Pineview instead. I really wanted to go to Lagoon actually, since it was an amusement park instead of just. . . a lake. But we still had fun. There's not much to say about it though, other than the whole getting on the inflated waverunner. We all got on it. I took a picture of my aunt on it, my uncle on it, and they got a pic of me on it and my brother on it.
Aaaand, I guess that's it. I'd be willing to go again. I just hate how long the plane ride is. ^^; I'm so impatient.
