2 of our 4 dogs got out of the backyard earlier tonight. We looked around town and for a few miles surrounding town for about 2 to 2 and a half hours. We found Trixy at one point and put her on a leash to see if she could help us find Midnight (mom's dog) We were out until it was dark and the sun had completely disappeared from the horizon. I was waiting near the cornfield we thought Midnight was in when Dad yelled at me and said mom had found Midnight. Midnight had been out on the highway and got hit. The SOB that hit her never even stopped. Her....... it was just a sight NO person should ever have to see. Now mom wants to get rid of all the dogs so SHE doesnt have to go through this again. I think that's BS. Xena is DAD'S dog, and Biscuit is MY dog. WE SHOULDNT have to give up our dogs just because mom lost hers. AND SHE WISHED THAT IT HAD BEEN TRIXY WHO GOT HIT!!!!!!!!!! So needless to say I'm pretty POed at mom. I know it hurts. I was crying so hard that I fell out of dad's car when we got home. And when I first saw Midnight, I started backing away and screaming. I couldnt seem to stop myself from doing either. Everything that's been going on lately...... I just want to leave everything and run away. I dont care. I'm just sick of everything right now
