Hi. I'm just going to post, the thing i wrote about my grandma that the priest said at the funeral.
I'm doing better now, I think. It helps that Christmas is soon.
Words from Anna’s Granddaughter Julie.
Grandma was a great inspiration and positive force in my life. In many ways she was a hero to me. No one went through harder times than she did. She always had a strong determination to live and made it through everything that came her way. She was brave and caring and even though she went through what she did, she did not become hardened or bittered by it. She always put others before herself. She always tried to hide it when she was in pain because she didn’t want to upset anyone. She always had hope, which is how she was able to make a life for herself. Grandma sometimes seemed forward but she was just being honest and always meant well. She worried a lot, maybe too much, but it was only because she cared. I will never forget Grandma’s cooking, she always put a lot of work into it, and it was enjoyed. And I will always remember Grandma’s stories of her life, she had a very interesting and eventful life. I will never forget Grandma for these reasons and I will always miss her. I love her very much and I am happy she is now at peace. -Jewlee
