Hello, dear Gaians, welcome to another rant!
As you may or may not know, I consider myself to be a writer. Whether it be fanfiction or short stories, I've attempted it all at one point or another. And, well, I've come to the conclusion that I absolutely HATE writer's block.
I know I have enough imagination to get all the way through a stupid fanfiction, but after the first chapter or so, after I've messed around with the idea for a bit, I find that it's just not as interesting anymore. As soon as I realize this, I develop what every creative soul knows as writer's block. During this block of creativity, I forget how to express myself, at least with words on a page, or with type on a screen. It takes a while for me to get back my inspiration and creativity.
What I need is a metaphysical representation of said "writer's block", so I know when I have successfully destroyed it, gotten past it, and can now write freely without, if you'll excuse me, creativity constipation.
But, then again, maybe I need a metaphysical representation of my Muse, the one who doles out the supply of ideas, creativity, and inspiration. I have often tried picturing my Muse, but Muses come in many forms, and are often hard to pinpoint when I need one. If only she (or he; I don't know the gender, and I don't think they have one) could appear upon my shoulder like a guardian angel does, then perhaps she/he'd be able to help me more readily.
So long my friends, and I leave you with my musings. No pun intended.
