No storyline entry tonight
Why? because damnit I wanna sit down and watch at least one Mythbusters all the way through!

Also...on TNT tonight at 8pm central time, Some short stories out of Stephen King's Nightmares & Dreamscapes will be airing. And I've been a King fan since I was in forth grade when I first read The Tommyknockers (his second worst work imo)

so stay tuned tomorrow night.

Edit (next morning): So here are two that aired last night--

Battleground
Teleplay by Richard Christian Matheson, based on the short story by Stephen King, directed by Brian Henson
Jason Renshaw (William Hurt), a professional hit man, successfully murders the CEO of a prestigious toy company, only to face the biggest fight of his life when a package from the toy company is delivered to his house with surprising, deadly contents.
Only sounds are explosions and yelling/grunting. It's cute because the mother of the toy company sends possessed army toys--think little green GI Joe's ala Small Soldiers

Crouch End
Teleplay by Kim LeMasters, based on the Short Story by Stephen King, directed by Mark Haber
A newlywed American couple (Eion Bailey and Claire Forlani) honeymooning in London goes to Crouch End to have dinner with a friend. They soon learn the town is not what it appears to be, and the more they get lost, the more they become trapped in another dimension.
"Crouch End is a place where strangers do not go." This is damned true because when the two main characters get to Crouch End to meet the newlywed's husband's boss for dinner (bosses place or a resturaunt, I forget) the s**t hits the fan because of all the creepiness that happens. The short story is better than the show and I thought the short story was a bit on the sucky side. The only thing that did it for me was a refrence to thinnys (from "The Dark Tower" series) and I think the bikers were werewolfs (not wolves, wolfs; see "The Talisman" for those of you who haven't read it yet). As for the kids...I have no idea what they are other than creepy little kids.
